Christmas in July?

Ok, well not really, but it is time to start thinking about it! Fall is a great time to schedule a shoot in time for the holidays. With the help of Tennille King, I’ve worked on a few of this year’s Holiday cards, here’s a sneak peek of some of the 5x7 templates that are available!

5x7 cards can be printed on photographic paper as well as art linen paper. Prices can be found on the main website on the Design Info page. Stay tuned in the next few weeks for a sneek peak at some 4x8 templates. Remember in addition to Christmas cards, pictures make a wonderful gift for grandparents and other family members! Surf's Up...

Last week I spent a few days (Wed-Sat) at the beach with my family and some friends. We had a great time! Here's just one shot that I captured and I really like. I've been wanting to get some gallery wrapped canvas prints made and I think I'm going to get this one done. A little info about gallery wrapped canvas prints: Your image is printed larger than the final size, and the print is then wrapped around a thick wooden stretcher bar. Staples are on the back of the bar. Framing paper covers up the back of the bars, and metal hangers and bumpers are applied to the corners. The Gallery Wrap is ready to hang with no additional work needed. All Gallery Wraps are protected with a special laminate designed for canvas prints. Your Gallery Wrap will be protected from scuffs and scratches, and the laminate offers UV protection. Lamination is included in the price of a Gallery Wrap and is available with either a Matte or Glossy finish. Extra space is needed all the way around the image for wrapping, so there may be a discrepency between the actual photo you choose and the size based on the extra space that is needed. You dont want to loose the important parts of your image!

Wedding Timelines...

As I was doing my daily photographer's blog browsing. I found a great blog by Anne Ruthman. She recently posted about wedding timelines. I'm not married, however I do know from the weddings that I have photographed how important a timeline for your big day is! You've got to have enough time for hair, makeup, portraits, etc. If you're a bride to be, I'd definitely recommend taking a few minutes to read it!
