Krystle & Zack | Eastern NC Engagement Session

Zack and Krystle are getting married in February! While they're both from the mountains of NC, Zack is doing some training in Eastern NC for his job. I'm so glad they found me to take their engagement photos. They were so much fun and Krystle came with lots of ideas!

Megan & Nick: Engaged | {Raleigh Engagement Photographer}

Meet Megan and Nick. Megan and I went to Meredith College together and met our freshman year because we lived on the same hall. We were friends all through college and I'm so thankful that we have kept in touch after all these years. Megan is engaged to Nick and they are getting married two monhs from yesterday!

I met up with them at Meredith College. They are also getting married there in the chapel, so it was fitting to explore the grounds for their engagment session.



I love this next image of them in front of the chapel. :) Hopefully we can recreate this on their actual wedding day too.






One last shot that we took was in front of the residence hall where Meg and I met.

Sarah & Russ | Columbia, NC Engagement Photography

Sarah & Russ are getting ready to tie the knot! We met up down at the boat ramp on Frying Pan Road to begin their session. We had hoped to have to small wooden boat for them to drift around in but the boat began taking on water when they launched it earlier in the day to "test" it out so we were on to plan B. I think their images turned out great even with no boat!











After a quick clothing change we ventured over to an old barn that sits along the side of the road. This barn was a really cool spot to shoot.

Jennifer & James | Outer Banks Engagement Photographer

I met up with Jennifer & James just two weeks after their engagement. Jennifer and I have a mutual friend, Melissa, that as soon as she heard Jennifer's good news called to gift an engagement session to her and her fiance. {How cool is that? Great gift, huh?}

We first met up at Jennifer's parent's house on the OBX and went to a beach that Jennifer frequented while growing up.

From there we went to a friend of Jennifer's over in Martin's Point. They had a wonderful pier for us to shoot on and around.

Erin & Marc: Engaged | Raleigh Engagement Photographer

I have know Erin for quite a few years now. Her and Marc met just over two years ago and just before Christmas I got a text from her announcing their engagement! I was so excited for her! Not long after, we began discussing their engagement session and their Save the Date cards to announce their upcoming October wedding!

We met downtown Raleigh last weekend for their shoot. I was excited to see them and to see what sort of goodies they had brought as they had lots of ideas of how they wanted their Save the Date cards to be sort of a play on words! I loved the ideas they came up with!

We first met at some railroad tracks that run through downtown...







Just one idea for their Save the Date card was to incorporate their wedding date in the photo somewhere. This is a cute one of the two of them and their date in the photo. There are a lot of other fun ones but I'll save those incase they want to use them for their cards! :)
