Jess & Mikey

Jessica and Mikey were married in October on a cruise ship. I attended the wedding as a guest and it was a ton of fun. After the wedding we set sail to the Bahamas for a weekend of fun! We met up in December for a little "after party" with just Jess, Mikey, and myself to capture a few fun with the dress portraits! It was about 80 degrees when they got married and I think 34 degrees when we took these photos. Jess was such a trooper!

















This was such a fun session! I would highly recommend for brides to take advantage of an after the wedding session. It's not like the bridal portrait session where you're trying to keep your dress as neat and clean as possible. It's not like the day of the wedding when you only have a set amount of time to have pictures taken with the Mister. It's a session where you can take your time, get down and dirty (but not too dirty), and get some amazing portraits to remember.

The Severa's | Holiday Mini-Session

You might remember this handsome group of people from their engagement/family beach session back in the summer. If not you can check that out here. Since then Lindsay & Jeff tied the knot and came back for a Holiday Photo Session just in time to get Christmas Cards in the mail!

Connor | Holiday Mini-Session

Another session was with Mr. Connor. Isn't his strawberry blone/red hair gorgeous?









I had so much fun chasing him all over the plantation grounds! I've photographed Connor before but this time she used a gift certificate that a friend purchased for her. Gift Certificates are great for baby shower gifts, anniversary, birthday presents, or just because!

Helen & Liza | Holiday Mini-Session

Back in November I hosted a Holiday Mini-Session at Somerset Plantation! It turned out to be a beautiful day! My first subjects were two adorable sisters: Helen & Liza. I photographed Helen when she was about six months old and it was so good to see her again and to see how much she's grown. Her little sister is too cute too!



The dress on Liza goes all the way back to their Mother's grandfather. Isn't that amazing!

Toes in the Sand | Outer Banks Beach Photographer

My last beach session to wrap up the 2010 season was with The Smith Family! I've photographed their kiddos quite a few times but it was nice to get Mom & Dad in the mix again!

Another Fall Beach Session | Outer Banks, NC

This past October my friend Bridget and her family met me down at the beach for a session. She wanted to use these images for Christmas presents to friends and family as well as for her Christmas cards. October is a good time to get those types of images done because it gives you plenty of time to pick out exactly what you want. Photographs are great gifts for family too. Its something that they'll never get tired of looking at!



Bridget also brought along her brother and sister to include them in the photograph collages that she wanted to surprise her mom and grandmother with!
